Mahi's Morning Meal

Morningstar Art presents Mahi's Morning Meal, the third piece in a three‑part series celebrating our favorite fish to chase in the blue water south of the Lower Keys. Out past the reefs, sunrise comes with a kind of urgency—bold colors ignite the sky, the ocean clears to a glassy blue, and every creature knows the day begins with the hunt.

In this painting, the open Atlantic becomes a stage with nowhere to hide. The water is bright, transparent, and honest, revealing motion, instinct, and the raw energy of morning feeding hours. The scene captures that familiar moment offshore when the world feels both wide‑open and alive, when the first light hits the waves and everything beneath them wakes with purpose.

Mahi's Morning Meal blends vivid color, movement, and coastal drama to honor the thrill of fishing the Atlantic. As the final chapter in the series, it ties together the rhythm of sunrise, the clarity of blue water, and the unmistakable excitement of the chase.
