Skinny Waters

Morningstar Art presents Skinny Waters, a tranquil aerial study of the peaceful blue Gulf as seen from Summerland Key. Captured by drone, this image reveals the quiet elegance of the shallows—those narrow, winding stretches of water that demand local knowledge to navigate and reward those who understand their shifting moods.

From above, the scene becomes a story of depth and delicacy. The pale blues and soft gradients trace the contours of the seabed, while the thin channels carve subtle pathways through the flats. It’s a landscape shaped by tides, wind, and time, where boats move carefully and the water itself seems to whisper its own rules.

Skinny Waters reflects the calm, understated beauty of the Gulf side of the Keys—an environment both serene and complex, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the quiet spaces where land and sea blur into one.
