Sky on Fire

Morningstar Art presents Sky on Fire, a vivid study of one of the greatest perks of living in the Florida Keys: sunsets that refuse to disappoint. Some evenings arrive quietly, and others erupt across the horizon with impossible color. This was one of those nights—when the sky seemed to ignite, layering reds, oranges, and molten gold over the calm water until the entire landscape felt suspended in light.

Captured from Cudjoe Key, the scene reflects the rhythm of island life, where the day often ends with a moment of awe. The clouds stretched wide, the colors deepened, and the sky burned with an intensity that felt both fleeting and unforgettable. Sky on Fire celebrates the beauty that locals know well: the kind of sunset that stops you in your tracks and reminds you why the Keys are home.
